Breech presentation

Breech presentation is the most common malpresentation at term, complicating 4 percent of all singelton pregnancies. Management of breech presentation has been a continous issue with a trend towards cesarean section in the recent years.This article gives an detailed overview about the risk factors, symptoms and management of breech presentation evaluating the recent literature. Special focus is set on external cephalic version and the mode of delivery.
