Abstract

Egg donation, Embryo selection, PID and co. – is ART better in other countries?

The last decades led to radical development and changes in assisted reproductive medicine techniques. Today patient counselling needs to enlighten different therapeutic possibilities in Germany and the surrounding European countries with partially essential differences in legal positions. This article focuses on therapeutic options, risks and benefits of actual treatments in Germany and possible pitfalls in interpreting success rates and efficacy of ART procedures in Europe.
