Management of high risk pregnancy

The frequency of high risk pregnancies is increasing as a result of factors like higher age, obesity and multiple pregnancies after assisted reproduction. The aim of the management is to identify the actual risk factor early and to adapt pregnancy surveillance and medical care. The spectrum of measure include »classic« tool like Doppler sonography and CTG but also new biomarkers. The review on management of high risk pregnancy gives an overview on topics such as multiple pregnancy, gestational diabetes and post-term gestation.
