Abstract
Anti-Müllerian hormone During the last years a lot of studies report about the
value of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) – well known
from embryology since long time – in relation to ovarian
reserve. In the beginning AMH was regarded as the
answer to nearly all open questions dealing with ovarian
function. In the meanwhile and after initial euphoria different
studies have shown it?s realistic position in laboratory
work up. This article deals with the actual knowledge
about AMH in diagnostic and therapy which is relevant in
our daily routine work.
